No big surprise as Mission Impossible 3 retains its number one position at the South African box office in week two of its release. It’s made R5 717 145 so far, on a 47-print release countrywide.
The animated Ice Age 2 is still doing mega-business (R21 314 850), even though it is now at number six after seven weeks of release. Failure To Launch, the new comedy from Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew McConnaughey, went to number two in its first week with R1 339 847, followed by the animated The Wild (R4 683 458), Prime (R3 197 911) and the new horror release, The Hills Have Eyes (R434 173).
