The Media Production Show 2018 (MPS) wrapped up last week to acclaimed members of the creative industry. From exhibitors and visitors, the two-day show, held at London’s Olympia from 12 to 13 June 2018, saw a significant increase in visitors on both days, with 5380 total visitor attendance, and the show also garnered positive feedback for its business-friendly duration and central location.
The show presented a host of new features this year, including a major focus on audio, a hands-on live production experience and a digital disrupters theatre for visitors to learn more about the possibilities and practicalities of the latest innovative technologies. A new Production Services Village also brought a wide range of international production service providers including location companies, studios and travel management companies.
Visitors enjoyed a diverse range of expert speakers from leading organisations, including Netflix, ITV, World Productions, FOX, Channel 4, The National Trust, Technicolor, Channel 4, Immerse UK, Molinare and The Mill.
Many first-time exhibitors were impressed by both the number and the mix of visitors.
