HitFilm 4 Pro is the latest editing and effects software from UK-based tech company
FX Home. What makes this software a keen
competitor to other well-known editing and VFX tools is its appeal to filmmakers who are looking for an easy to use platform that combines both capabilities.
HitFilm 4 Pro has a couple of things on its predecessor HitFilm 3 Pro. It features a
lighting model called Cook-Torrence which is more suitable for metallic and rough
surfaces. Its new reflections feature allows 3D models to receive bounced light from
nearby objects and it has a new ability to soften intersections between particles
making smoke effects look more natural.
HitFilm 4 Pro is available for purchase and download on the HitFilm website and is currently priced at
