Thabang Sidloyi, a 27-year-old actor and musician best known for playing the lead
role in Irish/South African co-produced film The Good Man, died in a car
accident in Cape Town on Friday 28 November, according to Emergency Medical
Services. The accident, involving Sidloyi and three of his friends was captured on
video and has been shared on social networks by friends and family members as a
warning against speeding.
According to iol.co.za Jumbo Kosi Sidloyi’s manager at Jumbo Artist Management said,
“Thabang was a young talented man. He was multi-talented and did a lot of work
under the agency.’
Mhlanganisi Madlongolwana, Sidloyi’s colleague and friend said, “I am and will always
be inspired by Thabang’s passion for the arts and his constant search for ways to drive
