The association Les 3 Continents (Nantes, France) is calling for entries for the international workshop, Produire au Sud, to be held from 21 to 27 November, 2011 in Nantes. Selected producers and directors will be invited to remain until the end of the Festival of 3 Continents on 29 November.
Produire au Sud accompanies films in development and supports selected teams consisting of two persons (producer and director) in acquiring professional skills and tools
on international co-production, during an intensive one-week seminar. Delegates will benefit from customised training and individual consulting lead by European cinema and audiovisual industry professionals. The Produire au Sud programme is led by Guillaume Mainguet.
The Nantes workshop will select six or seven projects in development from any country in Africa, Asia, Central and South America.
The entry deadline is 23 August and selected projects will be announced on 27 September.
