According to The Hollywood Reporter Woody Allen is assembling a typically eclectic cast for his next film set in the Italian capital, Rome. The cast will include The Social Network’s Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page of Juno fame, Penelope Cruz and Alec Baldwin.
Cruz won the best supporting actress Oscar for her role in Allen’s 2008 film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
The title and plotline of the film, written and directed by Allen, has not been revealed yet. Midnight in Paris, Allen’s latest film, will be the opening-night film at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
