Creative Scotland has launched a £1m investment fund for feature film to enhance the value and returns to the Scottish independent film sector and to increase appreciation of Scottish cultural content.
According to Cineuropa, investment awards of between £100,000 and £500,000 will be offered to companies or consortia with a strong track record in film finance, production, distribution and exploitation, who can secure significant co-investment and present a strong approach to maximising potential returns from film investment across the entire film value chain.
