A report by accountancy and consulting firm Deloitte has found that usage of online and on-demand catch-up TV services have been widely exaggerated, with conventional TV viewing still dominant.
According to The Guardian, Deloitte maintains traditional TV will remain strong for years to come and advises advertisers not to abandon the medium.
Usage figures of online and on-demand catch-up TV services, the report says, have been hyped by the superificial use of big numbers, with many surveys of popularity relying on self-reporting.
