If you’ve earned profits of nearly $2bn for the period October to December 2009, which is what search engine and content aggregator Google has done, then it’s easy to conclude that the ad market might be getting back to what it was before the recession hit.

According to The Guardian, Google has attributed this excellent result to the strength of its management team, the resilience of its business model and the pace of innovation within its engineering teams.
Google’s profit was higher even than what Wall Street analysts had predicted.
