Cinema-goers in Centurion can look forward not only to a newly facelifted Ster-Kinekor Theatres multiplex, but two new cinemas as well. This will bring the total number of screens to six.
Like other Ster-Kinekor multiplexes, the renovated cinemas will feature contemporary design, extra comfort full size seating and full Dolby SR sound.
From 27 July Ster-Kinekor Theatres will temporarily shut down its Centurion cinemas to undertake the renovations. They will then reopen the four new renovated cinemas on 28 October and begin building the two new screens which themselves will be completed by February 2010.
“The new cinemas will be amongst the best in the country and we apologise for the inconvenience that will be caused by the temporary closure. We urge customers to go to Ster-Kinekor Irene until the completion in October 2009,” says Michael Bender, Marketing Executive for Ster-Kinekor Theatres.
