A feature film starring top X Games stars such as an Olympic gold medallist snowboarder and a skateboard vert-ramp champion, will be released theatrically by sports channel ESPN and Disney.
X Games 3D the Movie will be shown in 3D digital theatres around the US in August. The film, which takes a personal
look into the lives of extreme sports athletes, is believed to be the first sports-themed theatrical 3D film in the world. It is directed by Steve
Lawrence, who made the surfing documentary Down the Barrel.
