Not only can you put your agency creative talent to the test at the Loerie Awards. Now the more musical amongst art directors, copywriters, creative directors, designers and some rather slick suits can reveal their musical talent as well.
If you’re attending the Loeries event at Margate, then your are invited to strut your a€˜other’ creative stuff. The Loerie Awards Festival Weekend inaugural a€˜Inter-Agency Battle of the Bands’ will take place on Sunday, 17 September.. Best of all, there’s cool prizes to be won by those bands that get the audience really rockin’.

Time: From 11h00 until we have a winner
Venue:Margate Beach
Equipment:There will be a backline on stage and there will be guitars will be available.However, it would be preferable if you brought your own guitars.
Registration:Bands must register in advance with Tammy (tammy@wonzaniafrica.co.za)
Band format:There isn’t one; bands can be made up as you please and can thereforecomprise people from the same agency, or people from different agencies.
Of course, there’ll be lots of opportunity over the weekend to take in some creative inspiration of the work kind at the screening of the advertising show reels at the Margate Cinema and the exhibition of the 2005 Loerie Award winners at the Art Museum.
