MAPPP-SETA grants Learnership program to Realtime Pictures

18 Learners will commence a 10-month Learnership program on 1 June 2006.

The Learnership program is based on a practical working experience and learners will have the opportunity to be mentored in all aspects of television and video production. On completion of the program, learners will be awarded with the qualification: “Further Education and Training: Film, Television and Video Production Operations”. This is on an NQF 4 level. The program partners involved in the mentoring are: IRealtime Pictures, International Radio Pictures; Johan Stemmet Entertainment Enterprises; Touchdown Africa & Walkabout Pictures.

There is huge excitement at Realtime, since they have been working closely with MAPPP-SETA for over a year to ensure that their application for a Learnership program was successful. All program partners have committed to assist with mentoring for the entire program.
