The Da Vinci Code may only be in the number two spot at the South Africa box office this week, but it has made more in two weeks of release than Mission Impossible 3 in four weeks. The former has amassed R8 263 725, with “Mission” at R8 158 107.
Top honours for this week though go to another blockbuster, X-Men 3: The Last Stand with a cool R3 824 208 in its opening week. The Shaggy Dog is in third place, followed by “Mission” and the romantic comedy, Failure To Launch in fifth spot.
