Following on from a story reported on this site yesterday, it is now confirmed thatBrad Pitt was absent on Tuesday from the Cannes presentation of his latest movie, ‘Babel’, but sent an email to the festival explaining it was because he was awaiting the birth of his and Angelina Jolie’s baby.
“With the imminent arrival of the new addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew in introducing the film.I am tremendously proud of ‘Babel’ and want to congratulate everyone involved for this great achievement.”
Pitt (42) and Jolie (30) are in Namibia, where the birth of their first biological child together is expected any day now.
