Two animated films are in the top five at the South African box office, namely The Wild (R3 163 471 in its first week) and Ice Age 2 (a huge R20 202 312 in five weeks of release).
Also in the top five are Prime (with Meryl Streep, Uma Thurman) at R1 940 665; the tearjerker about abandoned Huskies, Eight Below (R4 585 316), and the Harrison Ford stress thriller, Firewall (R3 063 215).
