South African actor Sean Cameron Michael, last seen on SA screens in the hit TV series Black Sails on DStv’s History channel, has once again nabbed a role in a major US series. This time, the actor can be seen in Of Kings and Prophets, currently on M-Net Edge, a biblical drama that centres around a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet, and a resourceful young shepherd.
Michael appears as the character Nabal in two episodes of the nine-part drama. His co-stars include Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Ray Winstone and Olly Rix amongst others. The actor was flown from his homebase in LA to South Africa in December last year to film the ABC TV series.
Episode 6 of Of Kings and Prophets, which features Michael, will air on M-Net Edge (DStv channel 102) this Thursday, 13 October, at 20h00, while his second episode screens the following week, 20 October.
