This October is International Breast Cancer Month, as part of an initiative to raise awareness for the cause, Addi Lang – owner of Caitlins Casting – has created a public service announcement consisting of two songs and music videos in support of cancer awareness.
This is a cause that is particularly dear to Lang as she recently underwent an axillary lymph node dissection in addition to a mastectomy followed by treatment. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Carrie Underwood’s song Forever Changed is the first song Lang and her artists recorded, and is the inspiration behind the theme of the press conference held on 1 October 2014. The second song is Bette Midler’s Wind Beneath My Wings.
