On 22 June South African film Four Corners was awarded Best Film at the Niagara Integrated Film Festival (NIFF) in Canada.

Director Ian Gabriel was applauded by the NIFF Award committee for putting unknown stories from South Africa’s Cape Flats on the world stage. Gabriel thanked the committee on behalf of the film’s cast for their friendship and support of independent South Africa film making, saying the “NIFF Best Film award will help Four Corners reach out to audiences everywhere.’

Distributed in South Africa by Indigenous Film Distribution, Four Corners releases across Africa via DStv’s Video on Demand Box Office in June.
