On Wednesday 5 March, South African film iNumber Number screens at Studio Four at Atlas Studios in Johannesburg at 19h30, as part of the First Wednesday Film Club.
Directed by Donovan Marsh and starring S’dumo Mtshali, Presley Chweneyagae, Israel Makoe, Owen Sejake, Warren Masemola and Hlubi Mboya, iNumber Number tells the story of an undercover policeman turned heist gang member.
After two hard-working cops complete a successful bust and are refused a promotion by their superior, they find themselves on different sides of the law. One of the policemen participates in a cash-in-transit heist, while the other is confronted both by his friend and, once his cover is blown, dangerous gang members.
Presented by Indigenous Film Distribution and produced by Harriet Gavshon of Johannesburg-based Quizzical Pictures, the film has received international acclaim and has been selected for distribution by US production and distribution company Wrekin Hill.
The movie has an age restriction of 16.
