The Big Brother Africa launch show will come alive on Sunday 26 May when award-
winning musicians from Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa will take to the stage. In
more than 50 countries, audiences will get to see who the 28 new housemates for
Season 8 of Big Brother Africa called The Chase are.
Broadcasting live from 19h00 on AfricaMagic, AfricaMagic Entertainment, AfricaMagic
World and on DStv Channels 197 and 198 viewers will get the opportunity to enjoy
upbeat tunes from STL from Kenya. With hit songs such as Take My Time, Hula Hoop
and Bad as I Wanne Be the singer is set to deliver unforgettable pop, soul and rap
performances.
D’Prince and Wande Coal from Nigeria are known for songs such as I Like What I See,
Bumper 2 Bumper and Who Born the Maga. They will be joined on stage by Don Jazzy,
multi-award winning record producer, singer-songwriter and musician. With their
energetic and charming personas, the musos are expected to deliver sensational
performances.
Mafikizolo, one of South Africa’s leading Afro Pop music groups will entertain
audiences with their soulful and rhythmic tunes. The duo has produced several albums
and is famous for hits like Sibongile, Ndihamba Nawe, Nisixoshelani and most
recently Khona. Mafikizolo is well-known for extraordinary dance moves and therefore
audiences will be sure to be reminded of why the group dazzles and entertains crowds
during their live performances.
Kenyan stand-up comedian Daniel Ndambuki, better known as Churchill, is also
included in the line-up. He has become a household name in Africa with his TV show
called Churchill Live.
In addition to the live screening of the launch show, it will be streamed to audiences
across Africa and on the Big Brother website, www.bigbrotherafrica.com. Viewers
only need a computer and an internet connection to access the live stream.
There is less than a week to go to the highly anticipated launch show of Big Brother
The Chase. From 26 May, Africa’s biggest reality series screens live for 91 days, 24/7
on DStv Channels 197 and 198.
