This week a trailer from the new film by South African-born Neill Blomkamp, the writer /
director of the Oscar-nominated District 9, debuted on YouTube. Elysium stars
Hollywood heavyweights Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, supported by Diego Luna and
South African Sharlto Copley.
According to www.imdb.com Elysium is set in the year 2159, where
the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population
resides on a ruined Earth. A man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the
polarised worlds.
It is believed that the film will be released in August this year.
