Hitchcock:
This movie is essentially a love story about the influential filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock
and his wife and partner Alma Reville and takes place during the making of
Hitchcock’s movie Psycho. The story chronicles what happened behind the scenes in
1959 after Hitchcock was horrified when a reporter suggested that the filmmaker
should retire at the age of 60, sparking in the great director the desire to bring to
screen a horror movie based on a novel written loosely on Ed Gein, a serial killer
whose many victims included his mother… and Psycho was “born’.

Huston and Michael Stuhlbarg.
