The hilarious daily exploits of a group of civic-minded misfits who are joined in their mission to protect and serve the community are portrayed in SABC3’s new situation comedy Safe as Hausers.
Nigel Hauser (Alan Committie) is following his dream of running his own security company, Hauser’s Security, which survives on a wing and a prayer. Set in a residential middle-class dwelling in the north-western suburbs of Johannesburg, Hauser has converted a three-bedroomed house into his “Security Hub’.
Loose cannon Doug Tremaine (Robert Fridjhon), dedicated newcomer Tyson Ngubane (Rantebeng Makapan), gum-chewing Chi-Chi Moeketsi-Adams (Lali Dengazele) and faithful, closet detective Dotty Sithole (Meme Ditshego) aids Hauser to overcome the daily challenges that confront them.
The series also stars Robert Fridjhon, Louise Saint-Claire, Russel Savadier and Mortimer Williams.
Safe as Hausers premieres on SABC3 at 20h00 from Thursday 4 April.
