After only three weeks in release Die Wonderwerker (The Miracle Worker), Katinka Heyns’ Afrikaans langauge drama about the late legendary poet and naturalist Eugene Marais, has made R3.1m at the South African box office.
The film is currently on release with 36 prints and made the number five spot on the Combined Top 10 for the weekend of 21 to 23 September.
As at 20 September the South Africa madcap comedy, Mad Buddies (19 prints), had made a whopping R25.9m, in its 13 weeks of release. (Figures supplied by SAFACT)
