The second season of the popular Disney Channel original comedy Shake It Up premieres on the Disney Channel (DStv Channel 303) on Saturday 25 February at 9:40am.
Shake It Up is a buddy-comedy series that introduces two high-spirited girls, best friends CeCe Jones and Raquel ‘Rocky’ Blue, whose dreams of becoming professional dancers are realized when they become background dancers on the most popular teen dance show, Shake it Up, Chicago!, a job they land thanks to their longtime and well-connected friend Deuce. Between learning new dance styles, navigating the backstage antics at the show (especially with their rivals Gunther and Tinka) and their newfound social status at school, the girls are on their way to new and fun adventures, some that will test their friendship.
The series stars popular Disney Channel actresses Bella Thorne (Cece) and Zendaya Coleman (Rocky).
Disney Channel is counting down to series two of Shake it Up with double episodes of the dancing show at 2:30pm from Monday 20 to Friday 24 February.
The second season will kick off with a double episode at 9:40am on Saturday 25 February with a key repeat at 3:55pm.
