Vuyokazi Matu has resigned her position as chairperson and board member of the Cape Film Commission (CFC), following the CFC board meeting held on 7 July.
Matu resigned three months ago for personal reasons but agreed to extend her term of office until the end of June.
The CFC has decided not to replace Matu in the short term as the re-structuring of the board and the review of the Articles of Association in line with the new Companies Act is currently underway.
