Amy Adams has been cast to play the iconic role of journalist Lois Lane in the upcoming Zack Snyder Superman film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress will star in the Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures film with Diane Lane, Kevin Costner and Henry Cavill as Superman.
Director Zack Snyder said in a statement over the weekend that that Adams is one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today.
“Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful.
