GhanaLive has launched live streaming over broadband Internet of global content from Ghana through its brand GhanaLive.tv. A member of the Ghana Technology Group, GhanaLive.tv is based in the US and aims to be Ghana’s leading broadcaster of Ghanaian television over the Internet.
Real-time programming from content providers in Ghana will be streamed through GhanaLive.tv. For the first time the Ghanaian diaspora will be able to view TV content online through computers, mobile phones and via IPTV directly onto their television sets.
Since launching its beta version of GhanaLive.tv, the company has seen a huge surge in viewership by Ghanaians around the world and others who keenly follow political, social and business developments in Ghana.
Says Chris Armah Angus, co-founder and vice president of GhanaLive.tv: “Information and video on the web is a very interesting combination.
