On Digital Media (ODM), owner of new satellite pay-TV service TopTV which commenced broadcasting on 1 May, has sold 10% of the service to broad-based BEE women’s group Leroko Investments and un-named BEE trusts.
The deal was concluded through the National Empowerment Fund (NEF), an agency of the Department of Trade and Industry.
Among Leroko’s shareholders are ex-politician Valli Moosa and Popo Moelfe, former North West premier.
