The multi-lingual SAFTA-winning educational programme, Making Moves, will debut its new season on 2 April at 13h00 on SABC1. Making Moves profiles successful entrepreneurs and uncovers their motivations, challenges and victories.
Says Futhi Ngubane, commissioning editor at SABC Education: “Making Moves is an inspiring and informing series for the youth. Through the show, entrepreneurs, companies and government can engage on relevant issues related to entrepreneurship and business in South Africa.”
The programme provides information on many programmes available to assist young South Africans in setting up and managing their own businesses. Making Moves shows viewers that other than the usual faces of success seen in the media, there are other rare and innovative stars in business that have taken the leap and created substantial economic successes.
Produced by BonNgoe Productions, Making Moves is 30% each in Xhosa, Zulu and Sotho, with the remaining 10% in English. Mosese Semenya is director of the 26 episodes and also directed the award-winning SABC Education shows, Tsha Tsha and Takalani Sesame.
