Business Day reports that as at 14 May, the SABC had not responded to the legal papers served against it by suspended Group CEO Dali Mpofu, who is claiming that his suspension last week by the SABC board was unlawful.
Board chairperson Khanyi Mkonza has issued no comment on the matter.
Mpofu’s stance is that the board is subject to a political agenda to oust him from office and that he was not given sufficient time to defend himself prior to the suspension.
