As from 10 March, visitors to the social networking site Facebook have been able to see short clips of films produced by Hollywood’s oldest studio, Paramount, which is now owned by Viacom. With the use of an application called Voozoo, Facebook visitors can order a DVD of the Paramount film online.
Paramount has reportedly spent the past year selecting and cataloguing the clips from its archive of thousands of films for Facebook. It is expected that other studios may follow suit and go under the VooZoo banner. (Source: Studio Briefing).
