Chance To Meet Asia


MIPCOM, Cannes: Reed MIDEM, the organisers of MIPCOM and its sister market MIPTV will launch a new multi-platform and content driven market, AMAZIA, in Hong Kong in November 2008.

The event is geared to create international business opportunities not only in the traditional area of television and film but also in the sectors of music, online gaming, mobile, digital content, advertising, technology enablers, licensing and merchandising.

China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and The Shanghai Media Group (SMG) have already committed their backing to AMAZIA which is the first Asian business-to-business exhibition and conference event devoted to the creation and distribution of international entertainment content across all delivery platforms.

In addition to the exhibition and conference which will run over four days from 17 – 18 November, AMAZIA will also host the Entertainment Leadership Summit, a strategic two-day think-tank with visionary speakers from across the Asian and international entertainment industries.
