The lovable green animated ogre Shrek is maintaining top spot at the South African box office with takings of R10.4m. “Shrek The Third’ is followed, like last week, by three more Hollywood blockbusters, namely “Fantastic Four & the Rise of the Silver Surfer’, “Oceans 13′ and “Pirates of the Caribbean 3′. Sandra Bullock’s “Premonition’ is the week’s fifth highest earner.
Talking of blockbusters, “Spider-Man 3′ is in the number 10 spot with a total of R17.8m. The arthouse release, “As it is in Heaven’, released on 26 April is performing well and took R227 114 last week, enough to put it into the current ninth place at the box office.
