As from 1 May 2007, the M-Net channel ActionX will be screened 24/7. To coincide with this move, people around the country can experience the magic of being an action hero by starring in their own action sequence.
For six consecutive weeks in April and May, ActionX (available on channel 6 on DStv) is taking the Action X Experience to shopping centres countrywide. This event will bring the magic of action movies and green screen technology together in an entertaining and amusing way. The public will be invited to select one movie clip from a selection of six, get changed into movie wardrobe and will then be given the chance to act as the hero in their own movie clip.
The producers will make use of live green screen technology and the magic of creating an action sequence will happen live before everyone’s eyes. All participants will receive a free DVD with their own clip. Participants also stand the chance to win an advanced driver training course.
