Three days following Pope Benedict XVI’s declaration that “much of what is transmitted in various forms to the homes of millions of families around the world is destructive’, comes the news that the Vatican plans to launch an international satellite channel.
The announcement stated that the channel will provide news and entertainment in seven languages. This obviously raises questions as to how the channel will be funded and what kind of programming it intends to broadcast. (Source: Studio Briefing)
