Two new young talents have joined Creative Vision. They are Abena Ayivor who has been taken on as a new director and Mpotseng Mdakane as a producer.
Abena Ayivor is well known as an accomplished actress for her role in local television drama Generations and soon to be released Jozi H. According to Creative Vision she will bring a fresh new perspective to the world of commercial directing.
“Her wealth of acting experience will enable her to bring out excellent performances in actors,’ says Creative Vision.
After just hours of joining she received her first brief which is to direct a six year old in a demanding role.
Mpotseng Mdakane is an award winning producer and at 24 has already won a Gold Promax award in 2006 for Creative Vision’s commercial Thembisile and a Gold for best supernatural film The Mamtsotsi Bird in America, both of which she wrote and produced. This short film went on to win numerous awards across the world.
