As if the world needed another “Rocky’ movie! Sylvester Stallone’s Oscar-winning boxer character Rocky, created in 1976, has now hit the screens for a sixth time, albeit in a more aged format. Still, “Rocky Balboa’ took half a million Rands in its opening week at the South African box office, giving it fourth spot. The last Rocky movie was made in 1990.
Still tops at local cinemas is the controversial action thriller “Blood Diamond’, followed by “Night at the Museum’ and “Dreamgirls’. “The Departed” is at number five.
