Wildlife Filmaking Scholarships up for grabs

The Wildlife Film Academy is offering scholarships, sponsored by the National Film and Video Foundation, to prospective wildlife filmmakers from previously isadvantaged communities.

The one-month intensive course held in Oranjezicht, Cape Town offers inspirational and informative wildlife filmmaking lectures by industry professionals. It includes an all expenses paid field trip to a premier game reserve with the chance of filming wildlife in close proximity, and the use of state-of-the-art editing equipment (Final Cut Pro). Under the tutorage of post-production experts each student will produce a five-minute short film.
