Best of MIPCOM entries

The international publication Realscreen is offering an excellent marketing opportunity. It has called for entries for its BEST OF MIPCOM report.

The goal of this feature is to promo the best new shows heading to MIP for the first time. The best of the submissions will be profiled and then Realscreen will send the clips out the month before MIPCOM. There is no charge so it represents good, free coverage.

They are looking for clips, promos, rough cuts, or even entire shows a€” of any genre a€” as long as the files are less than 100 meg. (They recommend uploading AVI, MPG or Quicktime formats at a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.) The only caveat is that this must be the first time the films have gone to an international market, other than in paper form. (So, if you pitched last year off a one sheet, you can still enter the race!)

Submit up to three entries at http://www.realscreen.com/upload.

Please make sure to include your name, company name and contact email, as well as a list of the show titles (in the a€˜Instructions’ box). It’s also vital that a€˜Brendan Christie’ be selected in the recipient pull-down menu a€” we don’t want your entries to go missing!

Submissions will only be accepted until 11 August.

Should you have any questions, please contact Brendan Christie at bchristie@brunico.com.
