Harris Corporation’s new Videotek PTM-305 handheld, personal test monitor
has received Broadcast Engineering magazine’s Pick Hit Award, the industry’s
longest-running new product technology award.
Concilium Technologies supplies Videotek products in the South African market and
according to Andrew Cole Broadcast sales manager at the company,
“Professional judges working in the broadcast, post production, network and
satellite industries remain anonymous throughout the judging process to
protect the integrity of the awards. Winning products must have some
positive impact on the intended user’s everyday work, and must offer
substantial improvement over previous technology.
“The PTM-305 sized measurement instrument was designed to offer the
