Marquis Broadcast updates productivity and backup tools with AVID

Marquis Broadcast’s Workspace Tools and Project Parking products operate seamlessly within the Avid environment, providing customers with absolute confidence in its world-class disaster recovery, business continuity and productivity solutions. For a limited time, Marquis is offering a 10-day free software evaluation, plus 50 per cent* off these Avid Platform Certified productivity and protection tools, which are ideal for Avid NEXIS and ISIS users. These include:

A backup is only of use if it’s possible to get critical operations up and running in the shortest time when disaster strikes; for Avid NEXIS and ISIS systems, Workspace Tools accelerates recovery to production by using unique analytics of Avid work-in-progress. It prioritises recovery of any business-critical workspaces, allowing you to restore these to alternate Avid NEXIS / ISIS or Media Composer systems.

Another tool to improve productivity is Marquis’s Project Parking software, which offers a complete Avid storage management solution that archives, copies and restores projects. The system features cloud support, delivering a seamless multi-site Avid workflow, ideal for film production and broadcast. Delta Parking versioning makes it possible to share an Avid project archive between multiple sites; this means external projects can be restored and modified by editors, with just the subsequent edit changes versioned back into the external project.
