Tiffen International will launch a new product line at BSC Expo 2017, Tiffen NATural Neutral Density Filters. Memorialising the groundbreaking achievements made by Tiffen’s founder, Nat Tiffen. The Tiffen NATural Neutral Density Filter line provides improvements on neutral density filtration, with exceptional neutrality across the visual and IR spectrum resulting in natural skintones and outstanding colour fidelity. Manufactured in the USA utilising the patented Tiffen Color Core™ process these glass filters represent a new generation of ND and IRND filtration.
US cinematographer John Simmons, ASC said: “I can’t imagine any improvement on the “NAT’ ND filters we tested and demonstrated. My first impression was the neutrality of these filters were well proven during the test and ready to take to me very next production. So talk about splitting hairs to any further improvements would have to be judged by some advanced technical device that looks way beyond human perception, let alone my 30 plus years of experience.’
