Sony Pictures Networks (SPN), a premium Asian general entertainment TV channel, has announced the appointment of Mediamark as its advertising sales agency for South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mediamark will sell advertising on two SPN flagship channels available on Multichoice’s DStv North Indian bouquet: Sony TV Asia (channel 450) and the premium Bollywood movie channel, Sony MAX (channel 457).

Mediamark will be responsible for all sales on Sony TV Asia and Sony MAX and will work closely with SPN over the coming months as to introduce special sales packages to media houses, agencies and direct clients.
