Each year the International Academy of Arts and Sciences administers the Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting competition. The initiative is designed to offer recognition and encouragement to novice writers under the age of 30 outside of the US.

The winning scriptwriter will be flown to New York City and presented with a US$2,500 prize at the International Emmy World Television Festival on 21 November 2015. The winning script will be read by actors in front of an audience at the festival, and the winner will be invited to take part in the red carpet festivities at the 43rd International Emmy Awards on Monday, 23 November.

Full competition details and entry form.

The deadline for submissions is 1 July 2015.

Those interested in participating as a juror or those who would like to recommend qualified individuals interested in judging submitted scripts from young writers, can email the foundation at foundation@iemmys.tv.
