ATEME recently announced that Engineer Service – Ukraine service provider to the broadcast industry – has chosen its Kyrion line of contribution encoders and decoders, which has been certified by the European Broadcast Union (EBU) and deployed broadly around the world.

Since upgrading its fleet, the company has covered more than 15 major news and sporting events, including the Ukraine presidential and parliamentary elections and all Ukraine-based soccer games of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

The Kyrion CM5000 supports up to 4:2:2 10-bit, the highest-quality format available today and the default for premium sports transmissions.
