A new series in development featuring 77 year old Bill Cosby has been scrapped by US
TV network NBC following numerous new and resurfaced allegations of rape and
sexual assault against the comedian. The show was to be a family sitcom produced by
Sony Pictures Television.

Though NBC has offered no comment on the matter, the decision came shortly after
Netflix announced it would be delaying the November release of comedy special titled:
Bill Cosby 77. In addition, US cable and satellite television channel TV
Land has cancelled repeat episodes of The Cosby Show while talk shows
The Queen Latifah Show and Late Night With David
Letterman
have called off Cosby appearances.

Cosby continues to deny and offer no comment on the allegations made by over a
dozen women claiming he drugged and raped or molested them. Older claims date
back to 2005 while the most recent was made by supermodel Janice Dickinson on 18
November.
