On 3 September 2014, Africa Magic will screen a special announcement at 20h00 CAT to officially open entries for the AfricMagic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) 2015. The awards – a celebration of African filmmakers, actors and technicians – are hosted by Africa Magic in association with MultiChoice and official sponsor Amstel Malta.
Award categories this year include everything from acting, directing, scriptwriting and cinematography to editing, make-up, sound and lighting.
Closing date for submissions for the AMVCAs is 31 October 2014 and entry is free. Submissions can be mailed to AfricaMagic Viewers’ Choice Awards, PO Box 2963, Pinegowrie, 2123, South Africa, with attention to the Manager, Local Productions Africa.
