FOX Sports launches two channels in Africa

In August 2014 FOX International Channels (FIC), will launch FOX Sports and
FOX Sports 2, replacing Setanta Sports and Setanta Action respectively, in sub-Saharan Africa. The launch will coincide with the start of the 2014/15 football
league season providing viewers with access to the most dynamic and diverse
sports programming.

Alessandro Tucci, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX
International Channels Africa commented, “We are thrilled with the launch of
FOX Sports in Africa, which is the culmination of a process that began last year
with the acquisition of Setanta Africa. FOX Sports is the number one global
sports television brand. Now, African viewers can experience the raw excitement
and emotion of the world’s major football leagues, and a huge variety of other
sports, in the unique style of FOX Sports. We are as passionate about football
and our other sports as the fans are.’

The new channels will be added to other FIC’s channels in Africa: FOX, FX, FOX
Crime, FOX Movies, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Gold
and BabyTV.

content each year with live coverage of major international football leagues and
delayed coverage of league and cup matches from club channels. In addition,
the channel will provide daily news programming and a variety of football-related magazine shows and other soccer content.

FOX Sports 2 will cover additional football content and other international sports
